Capela Ossos (Chapel of Bones) was built to house the bones of the deceased when there was no space left in the graves of Evora. The Franciscan monks, decided that the most righteous act was to move the bones into a chapel where they could be closer to God. It now makes for a ghoulish tourist attraction.
